How I Work
My coaching is not traditional vocal coaching.
It is not voice lessons, though it can, and often does, involve technical work on the vocal instrument, and it always supports healthy function.
It is not music education, though when needed it can incorporate musicianship, ear training, theory, songwriting, and improvisation.
Like yoga, it is a training of the mind through the body.
It is transformational.
I am a guide.
I am a thinking partner.
I am a visionary.
Depending on the client’s needs, my work includes, but is not limited to:
Healthy function of the vocal instrument for all genres of singing and speaking
Preparing psychologically and physically for a tour
Maintaining health and balance on the road
Preparing for recording
Preparing for a keynote address & other speeches
Embodied Voice
Warming Up & Cooling Down
Curating the vocal athlete’s ‘Team’
